For walnuts, hazelnuts and suitable seafood shell portions, start with the dual-hole aluminum cracker. Its two gripping areas accommodate different shell sizes. The zinc alloy model also handles suitable nuts and seafood, but holds them in a single gripping section.
The funnel-shaped models are for nuts. Put a suitable nut in the chamber before squeezing the handles. The chestnut model cracks the shell before removal. It also opens other suitable nuts, provided they fit its cracking area.
Hinged handles bring the jaws of the dual-hole and zinc crackers together. With the dual-hole version, users choose the larger or smaller position. With the zinc cracker, they work within one jaw area and reposition a shell when another crack is needed.
The funnel models have a different action. A spring helps reopen the handles after pressing, ready for another nut. Aluminum handles give one version a metal presentation throughout; wooden handles give the other a contrast between the painted body and the natural handle surface.
The dual-hole and chestnut models are polished die-cast aluminum. The conical models have painted aluminum bodies; the wooden-handle version has a die-cast body. The zinc alloy cracker has an electroplated finish and textured handles. When selecting a walnut cracker tool, try the actual nuts you plan to open. Check their placement in the gripping area; the shell shape and hardness matter as well as its size. Hand washing is recommended for the dual-hole, zinc and both funnel models.
A kitchenware buyer can group the range by task: general nut preparation, shell-on seafood service and chestnut preparation. Someone choosing a nut cracker tool can then look at the relevant designs without working through seafood models for a nut-only task.
For seasonal nut gifts, consider the wood-handled funnel design paired with nuts in their shells. For individual seafood portions, consider the compact zinc cracker. A close view of the working area is useful here. Two crackers may both have a metal finish while holding a shell in quite different ways.
Leeyuen works with brands, importers and wholesalers on model selection and customization requirements. Put the selected model, intended nuts or seafood shells, order quantity, logo artwork and packaging requirements into one brief. For gift presentations, include how the tool will sit alongside the nuts. Logo and packaging customization are available. See branding and packaging options when preparing the range.
